Accounts & Eligibility Information
The myLSU account (myLSU ID) is used to grant secure access to many of LSU's online resources including the myLSU Portal, Computer Labs, E-mail, Secure Wireless (eduroam), Moodle, Workday, Zoom, and TigerWare.
Available To: LSU Faculty, Staff, Students, and Admitted Students.
- LSU Faculty & Staff: you will receive a myLSU account from your Human Resources Administrator in your department of employment.
- LSU Students & Admitted Students: you will receive a myLSU account as part of the LSU admissions process for LSU Undergraduate Studies, Graduate Studies, the Law Center, or Veterinary Medicine - Baton Rouge, Main Campus. myLSU accounts are created post admission.
The CommunityLSU account allows "proxy" access, only upon the student's approval, to LSU Student Information using the myProxy application. - STUDENT ACTION IS REQUIRED! - A Student MUST grant permission before this feature can be used.
Available To: A Parent of an LSU Student, A Student Sponsor, and Anyone who is Granted Access (by the student) to view LSU Student Information.
A Guest account is created by request for visitors to the LSU campus who need secure access to lsuguest wireless & Resources on the LSU Network.
Available To: Guests visiting the LSU Campus.
An HPC account is created by request and used to access the HPC Systems Tezpur, Pelican, Philip, and Pandora. All accounts require a valid LSU email address & LSU affiliated sponsor.
Available To: LSU Faculty, Staff, and Students.
The Mainframe account allows access to the LSU Mainframe.
Available To: LSU Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students with Mainframe Access.
