IPv6: How To Disable

To Disable IPv6:

1. Use the shortcut, Windows Key + X to open the Control Panel.

Open the Control Panel by pressing the Windows key + X


2. Open Network and Internet.

In the new Control Panel window, click the Network and Internet Selection


3. Open Network and Sharing Center.

Click the Network and Sharing Center.


4. Click Change Adapter Settings.

On the left sidebar, click the Change Adapter Settings link


5. Right-click your connection and go to Properties.

Select Properties in the drop-down menu after right-clicking your connection.


6. Uncheck the box next to Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) to disable it.

7. Select OK to confirm the change.

Press "OK" to save changes.
