Setting up a Network Printer on Campus

There are different options to set up a printer, depending on whether you live in a Residential Hall, or just on campus.
How to Setup a Network Printer on Campus
1. If the port for the printer has not been activated yet New Service Request. This will require a Budget Code; however, the Service is Free.

However, if the port is already active and only the VLAN needs changing, please email servicedesk@lsu.edu and request assistance from the NOC.
2. Set a specific IP and hostname for the printer by going to https://lsu-bam.lsu.edu
3. Make sure the printer is set to use DHCP. You can check the User Manual that came with your printer to see how to do this.
